It is our goal here at Appropriate Publishing to spearhead the paradigm shift that is long needed for and highly anticipated; for surely the conditions of a people are not to change until they first change the conditions for themselves. Simultaneously, while saturating the field with engaging literary works, we systematically establish a climate whereby it becomes fashionable and acceptable to be a reader and or intellectual. With the responsibility that comes with being a product of an environment, we wish for nothing more than to share what we’ve come to know. Reading brings about understanding as it is healthy for the mind. Being in the business of distributing we’ve discovered, knowledge transforms the mind.

Being that no individual can exceed the boundaries of his or her own mind, a key element in our program is to stretch the capacity of one’s thought process with intellectual property. A ghetto being a mind set, it is a way of thinking. What one thinks equate his or her level of worth in reality.
